About Mira
I am a dedicated Mathematics tutor with over 3 years of experience helping students build confidence and excel in their studies. I hold a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, which has given me a strong academic foundation and a deep understanding of how mathematical concepts connect. Over the years, I have worked extensively with high school students preparing for IB and A-Level examinations, guiding them through both standard and advanced topics. I believe that true success in mathematics begins with conceptual clarity.
Rather than relying on memorisation, I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind each concept. This approach makes even complex topics feel manageable. I also introduce diverse problem-solving strategies so students can approach questions with flexibility and confidence. Every student learns differently, and I adapt my teaching style to suit their individual needs.
A key part of my teaching involves extensive practice with past papers. This not only familiarises students with exam patterns but also strengthens their ability to apply concepts under pressure. I also focus on improving quantitative reasoning so students can think logically and make better decisions with numbers.
