About Charles
I am a dedicated flute tutor with over 12 years of teaching experience. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who want to learn flute for education, performances, hobbies, or personal growth. I believe that learning music should be exciting, rewarding, and suitable for every student, regardless of their experience level.
My teaching approach is based on communication, patience, creativity, motivation, and consistent practice. I begin by understanding each student's goals and then create a lesson plan that matches their learning style. I explain every topic clearly, provide practical demonstrations, and encourage students to improve through regular practice and positive feedback.
Besides flute, I teach music theory, rhythm training, ear training, breath control, beginner keyboard, sight reading, music appreciation, ensemble performance, and stage presentation. These subjects help students become confident musicians with a strong musical foundation.
I focus on improving posture, breathing, finger coordination, articulation, tone quality, rhythm, and musical expression. I also prepare students for examinations, concerts, competitions, and auditions. My aim is to help students enjoy every lesson while developing lifelong musical skills and confidence.

I believe that every flute lesson should inspire students to learn with confidence and curiosity. My teaching methodology combines Communication, Accountability, and Integrity to create a supportive learning experience where students feel motivated to achieve their best.
Each lesson starts with breathing control, posture correction, embouchure, finger coordination, and tone production. Students gradually progress to scales, rhythm practice, note reading, articulation, dynamics, phrasing, musical interpretation, and performance techniques. Practical exercises help students improve accuracy while enjoying the learning process.
Communication allows me to explain difficult concepts in a simple and friendly manner. Accountability teaches students the value of discipline, responsibility, and consistent practice. Integrity guides my teaching with honesty, patience, fairness, and genuine encouragement.
Besides flute, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Staff Notation, Sight Reading, Rhythm Development, Breath Control, Instrument Care, Music Appreciation, Performance Preparation, and Practice Planning. These additional subjects help students become well-rounded musicians.
My objective is to help students build confidence, enjoy music, and continue growing through dedication and practice.
