About Sarah
Hi! I’m Sarah, a 22-year-old University of Vermont graduate with a B.S. in Biology, currently applying to medical school and offering science tutoring for middle, high school and college students. Working with me is collaborative, supportive, and confidence-building, with an emphasis on strengthening core foundations and finding learning strategies that truly click for each student. I have a strong background in biology, chemistry, algebra, and calculus, along with hands-on teaching experience as a former college biology lab teaching assistant, an academic committee lead, and a tutor in an after-school program supporting students from low-income families. I also bring real-world healthcare experience as an EMT and Nursing Assistant, giving me a strong grasp of medical terminology and health-related sciences, plus a solid research background that includes conducting PTSD research at Yale University, writing my own manuscript, and participating in multiple science research competitions. I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence, stay motivated, and reach their goals through homework help, test prep, and long-term skill building!
