About Joanna
Units and measurements frame the way I view the world, much like the precise tick of a calibrated clock. I guide students through complex derivations and formulas with clarity. My background as a PhD candidate at UC Berkeley informs how I simplify mechanics and thermodynamics.
Electricity and magnetism become manageable through my conceptual learning framework. I have spent 13 years helping students succeed in kinematics and prepare confidently for their exams. My approach focuses on building strong fundamentals, clear problem-solving skills, and confidence with challenging concepts.

The first session starts by breaking the hardest problem you have into 3 simple pieces. You might expect a lecture but we start by testing your current intuition.
You will walk away with my personal derivation and formula notes for free. This is the 10.0 standard of clarity I provide. I build lessons around the exam patterns that reward clear thinking. My approach ensures that concepts are internalized rather than memorized.
