About Ummugul
I worked as a math tutor at the graduate school and I also had a tutor in the past. I am aware that sometimes math can be complicated to understand as it is like a different language which you can learn by practice and patience. I am here to encourage you and acknowledge your efforts on this journey. Most of the time, you might feel yourself not comfortable to ask questions in your regular math classrooms. My main role as a tutor is make sure that you feel comfortable asking your questions. I do not expect you to find correct answers but put effort to solve the problems even if you get a wrong answer, your effort is very valuable.

I use student centered techniques to make complicated math concepts easy to understand. Visual manipulations also help to better grasp any topics. I constantly communicate with my student to make sure that we are on the same page. I start solving easy examples to show the general logic of the concept.
I can teach high level of calculus concepts such as volume of solid revolution, integration, differentiation and as well as any topic in differential equations, linear algebra, probability, and statistics
