About Ricardo
I seek to introduce students to the relevant philosophical themes by considering the texts of today's great philosophers and sociologists. The goal is to encourage the student to read, understand and become a freelance reader. Fundamentally, in my view is that the student learns to consistently argue about the key issues of philosophy and theories of society.

I base my classes on a brief introduction to the topics of philosophy or sociology. Then in the identification and choice of the authors who approached the topics of interest and reading their texts, understanding in order to identify the main arguments presented by different positions. Subsequently passing a critical consideration of the arguments.
