About Anna
I am a PhD scholar with five publications. I have taught in two colleges. I have taught both literature and language. I completed my MA from St Stephen's College Delhi and BA from Alphonsa College Pala. Teaching is my passion and I hope to make it my profession soon.

I like my classes to be interactive. Teaching English grammar is like a puzzle. It would be important to learn the rules and practise with different questions to grasp the concepts. Teaching English literature is more about relating to a particular essay or story. An overall understanding of the content, the background, the author and the context would be important. Applying critical theories to interpret the texts would show you the possibilities of a text. I believe that through the class, you should be able to connect with the text and find your voice in expressing an authentic opinion about it.
I have guided seven students with graduate and post-graduate dissertations. Work I have enjoyed a lot and the interactive discussion sessions we had helped the students develop good ideas. I can help with writing the dissertation, proofreading, and finding the arguments.
