About Andrea
I am a passionate researcher currently doing my doctoral degree in Optical Biology at UCL. I love science and working on discovering new things about living organisms. But I also love passing on my knowledge to others. I am also the biggest sister in my family and as children I always taught my little sister and brother. I enjoy teaching and am very happy to help students achieve their goals and dreams.

Before we get started I ask the student questions on the topic to see how the student feels about the subject and his current knowledge on the subject. Then I design a personalised plan for the lessons. As we go through lessons I track the student’s progress and if needed go back over some lessons. I like starting the lessons with an interactive game/video. During some lessons we also draw (e.g the cell). Then at the end of each lesson we summarise material in a specially designed by me notetaker. Every couple of lessons we do a test/quiz to make sure the material is understood and remembered well. If I am preparing the student for a special exam we go over the exam and do practice sessions on this as well.
