About Charlotte
I am a PhD student with a background in literature, history, and culture. My BA (Hons) is in English, and my MRes (Masters by Research) is in Humanities. I also have a certificate in teaching English as a Foreign Language and have worked extensively with non-native speakers of English. I have offered private tuition for over ten years in my local area, including working in schools. I am truly passionate about literature and learning, and my enthusiasm goes a long way when it comes to inspiring students.

Each learner is different and so I tailor everything around the individual. My first lesson is about getting to know the pupil and what they want to achieve. After that, I base my classes around what they need to get them their results. I try and make things fun and take different approaches to schools. I am able to offer lessons in my home, or can travel to yours. I have given classes in cafes and public places before. I can also offer online tuition. It's all about finding what works for the individual.

Details
I am happy to offer lessons of 1.5hours (for £30) but do not recommend any longer than this in one go as concentration becomes an issue.
I usually ask for £25 for undergraduate students, and offer £10 per hour for English conversation improvement.
