About Maira Shahbaz
My name is Maira Shahbaz, and I hold an M.Phil. in Biotechnology with hands-on experience in bioinformatics. Along with I have 5+ years experience of teaching biology to students. I have always been passionate about biology, from the basics of cell biology and genetics to modern topics like molecular biology and data analysis of biological sequences. Working in both the lab and the computational side of the field has shown me how theory applies in real research, and I bring that practical view into my teaching. I know biology can feel heavy with terms and processes, so my goal is to make it clear, logical, and even enjoyable. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping every student build confidence and reach their academic goals.

Hello, I'm Maira , a Biotechnology M.Phil. graduate with hands-on experience in bioinformatics. I teach all biology subjects, including genetics, microbiology, molecular biology, bioinformatics etc. My approach is concept-based: I break difficult topics into simple steps, use real-life examples and diagrams, and connect theory to practical applications so students truly understand instead of memorizing. Each lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes a short revision of the previous topic, new concepts, and practice questions or past-paper exercises. I also share notes and give regular feedback to track your progress. My lessons are suitable for school, college, and university students, as well as anyone preparing for exams or entry tests. I adapt the pace and plan to each student's needs, so you learn comfortably and build confidence.
