About Luke
Hello!
My name is Luke Montgomery. I'm a physician, public health practitioner, and professor.
I've used my diverse background to help my students achieve their biology-related goals: medical school, graduate school, research, etc.
I have over 6+ years teaching experience at various levels (undergrad through doctoral programs) in biology, anatomy/physiology, cellular biology, microbiology, and organic chemistry.
I love sharing knowledge and learning from my students is a fun side effect of teaching and tutoring.

First, we get to know each other : how you learn best, why you are taking the specific course, and how we can use the course to prepare you for your future.
We typically use the first session to strategize: setting tangible goals and identifying points of focus.
In additional sessions, we start with areas that we may need time to understand (theory or practical) incorporating real world examples as best as we can.
In addition to being a physician and teaching, I have backgrounds in public health, Cross Training, and research, giving me a diverse, multifaceted perspective.
Many of my undergraduate students have successfully gone into medicine, graduate school, research, etc.
