About Nicolás
I am a Physics Engineer and a Bachelor in Applied Physics, graduated from the University of Santiago de Chile. During my studies, I specialized in experimental physics and optics, working in the university’s laser optics laboratory and presenting my research at international conferences in Argentina, Uruguay, and the United States.
In addition to my academic background, I have been involved in teaching and science outreach activities, which have helped me develop the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible way for different learning levels.
My teaching approach is mainly practical, where students work through a wide range of problems with the goal of understanding what they are doing at each step. I focus on helping students not only solve exercises, but also build confidence and independence in their problem-solving skills.
I have worked with high school and early university students, adapting lessons to each student’s specific needs, whether it is course reinforcement, exam preparation, or ongoing support throughout the semester.

My teaching approach is fully personalized and focused on results. I focus on helping students truly understand physics and mathematics from the ground up, rather than relying on memory. The goal is to develop strong problem-solving skills and confidence when facing unfamiliar exercises.
I work with high school and university students (engineering, physics, and related STEM fields) in subjects such as Physics, Calculus, Algebra, Linear Algebra, Mechanics, Electromagnetism, and Quantum Physics. I also provide support with lab reports, homework, quizzes, exams, and general course reinforcement.
Classes are fully adapted to each student’s level and goals, whether the objective is to pass a course, improve grades, strengthen foundational knowledge for advanced studies, or simply learn out of personal interest. The pace is adjusted individually depending on the student’s needs.
My lessons are mainly aimed at high school students and first and second year university students, especially those in engineering, physics, and STEM careers who need solid support in physics and mathematics.
