About Stephen
Hello! I have been working with students 1-on-1 for more than 6 years, tutoring for over 1000 hours. I have had great success in helping students with grade repair and building strong studying habits and abilities. I have a Bachelors degree in Physics and have taken basically every Physics class you can imagine, and math up to Differential Equations.

The thing that makes me the happiest in life is seeing a struggling student blossom into a confident student. My teaching method is centered around this transition. I focus on comprehension, if you are not understanding the topic then I have not explained it in the way YOU understand it yet. I do not give up on students, because every student has the ability to learn this stuff. Math and Physics are DIFFICULT but you are brilliant, you just don't know it yet.

Stephen is en excellent tutor and teacher. He has tutored my sons over the last few years and this year with online learning he is teaching my son physics. He knows how to connect with the students on academic level but also a personal level, meeting then where they are, so they can succeed!

Stephen is a great tutor --I wouldn't have succeeded in or passed high school math and physics without him. I only charge $50 if I have to travel; usually an hour of driving total for a 1 hour lesson. I am proficient in Zoom tutoring if you would like to do webcam tutoring. PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO NEGOTIATE IN-PERSON COST, I understand how scary it is to pay for a class you are struggling in on your own. Hope to see you soon!
