About Archie
Hi, I’m Archie, a professional musician, and piano player of 25 years. I am offering individual piano lessons from my home recording studio in Old Street, London. I have 6 years' experience teaching Beginner to Intermediate Piano in London, Paris and Bordeaux and I have a strong understanding of the ways to learn and grow into playing your instrument. Alongside achieving ABRSM Grade VIII Piano/Singing and ABRSM Grade V Music Theory, I graduated in 2013 from The Academy of Contemporary Music with a First Class BMus (Hons). Since then I have played piano as a session player for a number of artists and have performed music at venues and festivals around the world and recorded music in world-renowned recording studios. My rates are; 1 hour • £55 The lessons are in my beautiful home recording studio in Old Street using a stunning Kawai Upright Piano. Message me here on Superprof and I will respond within 24 hours. In our lessons, we will combine playing well-known piano pieces (catered to each individual student), practical exercises, aural training and theory understanding to give you a broad understanding of piano and music as a whole. Learning piano from scratch, or any other musical instrument, can be daunting, but with the right tools and some guidance, results will be seen quickly. Having received piano lessons for 15 years of my life, I have developed a methodical system which is foolproof in getting these results.

Archie is a fantastic tutor, he's really patient as I'm a beginner but has really been helping me improve!
Archie has been teaching me piano for just over a year now. I’m quite shy so I was always quite nervous to find a teacher but thankfully, Archie is super friendly and comfortable to be around.
His love for piano is contagious and thanks to his patience and guidance, I can very gratefully say I now know how to work out chords to my favourite songs without looking them up, and I can write my own songs ! So thanks Archie and see you Wednesday ️I hadn’t had piano lessons since I was about 10 years old, and Archie was great at finding the balance between what I knew (not a lot!) and what I needed to learn.
