About Alegria
Hi! I'm Alegria, a student at Columbia University with a passion for helping students succeed academically and gain confidence in their abilities. As a former high school salutatorian and current student at one of the nation's most rigorous universities, I understand both the challenges and rewards of academic success.
I've worked with students as a tutor, swim instructor, and mentor, which has taught me how to explain concepts clearly, be patient, and adapt to different learning styles. Whether you need help with history, government, political science, writing, study skills, or college preparation, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where questions are always welcome.
My goal is not just to help students earn better grades, but to help them become more confident, independent learners.
