About Henry
Oxford PPE graduate with 2 years' experience working in active politics - campaigning, researching and media work. I have been tutoring for 5 years around my studies and work, and have helped numerous students improve their A-Level Politics grades, and also helped with Oxbridge applications.

I am happy and confident leading learning with those of all abilities, and in all situations. I will base my lessons around the needs of each individual. Some may need help with specific examinations, and others a broader understanding of topics and principles. Being on the same page as to the abilities and needs of the tutee is the first stage in my process.
From there, I will fit a class to the tutee. These will be interesting - I'm fascinated by my subject so think my students should be too! I inject this passion into each class and try to relate each topic to the student, and what aspects of politics they are interested in. As a lot of my broader understanding comes from being directly engaged in active politics, I will often ground my teaching within the context of current and historical examples. When exams come around, these are incredibly useful to be able to inject into essays.
