About Nipun

I am a passionate home cook and registered sole trader with a background in catering and a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification. I enjoy helping people build confidence in the kitchen and learn practical skills they can use every day.

My focus is on approachable, traditional cooking rather than complicated restaurant-style techniques. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced home cook looking to expand your repertoire, I aim to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment.

I believe good food should be accessible to everyone, and I enjoy sharing the techniques, recipes and kitchen knowledge that have helped me develop as a cook.

About the lesson

I offer practical home cooking lessons focused on traditional recipes, everyday meals and essential kitchen skills. My approach is hands-on and relaxed, helping students understand not just how to follow a recipe but why techniques work. Lessons can be tailored to complete beginners or more experienced home cooks looking to expand their repertoire. Topics may include pasta dishes, ragù, soups, curries, stir-fries, comfort food classics and kitchen fundamentals such as knife skills, seasoning and meal planning. I hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification and operate a registered catering business. Lessons are available in person and online where suitable. Typical lesson lengths vary depending on the dish being taught.
