About Paria
Throughout my time at school, I have always been interested in the creative aspect of English literature, allowing me to often think outside the box and come up with unconventional interpretations of an otherwise simplistic text.
I have worked with younger students to help better their English skills for around 2 years now and have personally seen an improvement in both the way that they take on a text but also their overall attitudes towards English, which is one of the most important things for me. Within our lessons, I hope to not only improve the students' abilities to read and analyse text but to additionally teach them to enjoy and have a passion for the subject.

Within each hour lesson, I will be focusing on each student's weakness and helping to pinpoint what it is that is hindering them from getting the best grades possible whilst also giving my own advice on how to independently reach a level in which the student can successfully analyse a text. Many of my lessons consist of us working through texts suitable for the year group of the student (eg KS3, KS4 or GCSE) and finding techniques and methods that allow them to easily understand and come to a creative and reasonable conclusion about the text alongside addressing the student's difficulties.
