About Emma
I have been a primary school teacher for over 3 years and a tutor for 4. I am currently studying Contemporary Literature, Culture and Theory at Kings College London. I got a First with Hons in my undergrad at UEA.

My teaching method involves clear criteria and goals for the lesson which can be monitored through discussion and questions. I can draw the student's attention to different critical and contextual details in order to broaden their analytical approach to literature. I will highlight different techniques and their effect, encouraging the student to confidently identify and analyse different literature devices, and how to explain them to their audience in a coherent manner.
For younger children, I am highly trained in delivering phonics programmes and helping to develop comprehension skills.
