About Ali
Hi, I’m Ali, a qualified primary school teacher currently working as an Early Career Teacher (ECT) in London. I have classroom experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1 and Year 2, and I specialise in helping children build confidence in reading, phonics, writing and maths.

As a teacher, I understand that every child learns differently. My sessions are personalised to your child’s needs, focusing on building strong foundations, filling gaps in learning and helping children become more confident and independent learners.
I can support with:

My teaching style is patient, encouraging and structured. I aim to create a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and celebrating their progress.
Having worked in a classroom setting, I understand the expectations of the National Curriculum and the skills children need to develop at each stage. I use a range of engaging activities, explanations and practice tasks to make learning enjoyable and effective.
