About Sukanya
I have been working in finance since I was 15 years old, then I completed my BSc Economics with honours from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. Following this, I completed my MS Economics from University College London and then MS Finance from Singapore Management University. Currently, I manage wealth portfolios of select clients.
In my time as a student, I was meticulous in my approach to remember all the aspects of my studies that were difficult to me, and the importance of staying interested in your subject. I believe children are smart and can be inspired to excel if they are able to identify the purpose of their efforts.
I enjoy mathematics and economics because I can identify the relevance of these subjects, and I believe young children can do the same.

About the lesson

- My target students base is class 5 to 9 because core understanding of mathematics and quantitative analysis is developed at this age. I use materials from the ICSE and CBSE text books as well as the syllabus for UPSC, Bank IBPS and other competitive exams.
- I will prepare worksheets with motivation from real world case studies to help them understand the importance of what they learn. Students will also be given external readings at their level to prepare their own motivations.
- I will regularly hold doubt-clearing classes as chapters are concluded. Students can either cooperate amongst themselves and then prepare common doubts, or take appointment for individual sessions. Individual sessions will be arranged accordingly.
- Online class size will be a maximum of 5 students. Offline class size maximum of 10 students. This allows optimal organization.
- I have gone through a lot of studies and in my professional experience I have noticed a lot of younger students simply lack the motivation to study, I would like to help students develop that motivation.
