About Paul

I run a recording studio in Hertfordshire and have a musical family. My wife is a singer, pianist and actress and currently works for one of the best theatre schools in the UK.
I have played in quite a few bands. I have been Brian May in a Queen tribute, formed an 80s theatre rock show that toured the UK and I have played on and produced a lot of guests' recordings.
I first started teaching in 1989 to a school friend who went on to be in one of the top Pink Floyd bands.
I have taught all age ranges privately, in schools and music academies.

About the lesson

My lessons are fun and I'm very patient as every guitarist that you have ever heard of was in your shoes once. We will run at your speed as that has always been the best way to learn.
Whether it is electric or acoustic guitar, I can deliver lessons that will have you playing before you know it.
I have over 40 years' experience and have taught privately, in schools and academies.
During my performing days, I have supported such acts as Status Quo, T'Pau, ABC, Doctor and the Medics (to name but a few) and on stages like the O2 and major festivals.
My age range is 11 to 100!!
