My approach will focus on your child and their needs and interests as a learner and musician to ensure they get the most out of the lessons both musically and in their all-round development. The lesson will focus on the Jolly Music method commonly used in schools and the universal Kodaly method as well as influences from all genres of music from classical to pop to contemporary and jazz. I also have a knowledge and interest of alternative education and parenting methods such as Montessori, Steiner etc and I incorporate these philosophies into my teaching.
