I currently play with the Georgia Symphony Orchestra, the Tara Winds, the Georgia Wind Symphony, the Georgia Brass Band, and the Swing Set Jazz Ensemble in North Georgia, all while keeping an active gigging and performance schedule in musical theatre pits, church orchestras, and freelance works.

My teaching method doubles as a form of educational psychology, utilizing methods such as scaffolding and utilizing the student’s ZPD. Everything in music builds in itself, and it all links together in some form or manner. So, I use these building blocks to progress the student. The ZPD is the Zone of Proximal Development, or what you’re capable of comprehending and learning, and how far you can be pushed before it goes over your head, and this is useful in helping progress the student faster and more efficiently if you can effectively work within this zone.
