About Louis

I am a full-time musician, and enjoy playing gigs all around the North East and beyond! I am an ABRSM examiner and have also guided many of my students to exam success. However, I know music exams aren't for everyone, and I also enjoy creative, exploratory learning of skills such as improvising, composing, music theory, and ear training.

About the lesson

I tailor my teaching style to each student's needs and interests, and want to share my passion for music with you! I have a BA degree in Music from Newcastle University, I am an ABRSM music examiner, and a composer for film & TV. Lessons can be 30 mins, 45 mins, or 1 hour, either taught in my studio on Sundays or online (flexibly). I have taught ages ranging all the way from 4 years old up to 80+ and truly believe it is never too late to start learning. I am happy to meet you at whatever level you are at.
