About Adrian
My master's research involved electrochemical studies of larval mosquitoes to better understand how these disease vectors can be controlled in the wild. For my PhD, I studied the effects of various pesticides used to control invasive and parasitic lamprey to better understand how to mitigate non-target fish kills during river treatments. I have been teaching for many years at the University of Guelph in more than 20 natural and chemical sciences.

I like to teach by first understanding the student's style of learning. It is more about learning how to organize and understand concepts than trying to memorize every little detail. Memorization very rarely works. We will go through step by step and do lots of examples until you grasp the idea of deep cognitive learning.
