About Kirsten
I am a Professor of Humanities and English with a double PhD in Russian and Czech language and literature from Columbia University. I lived in France, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia, and Finland for a total of ten years. I have experience teaching a range of languages, and I teach world literature and great books at both the undergraduate and the graduate level. I am also a literary translator from Russian, Czech, and Ukrainian.

As a professor with degrees in multiple disciplines, I can offer assistance in a wide range of fields. In addition, I have experience teaching college-level Russian and Czech, French, and English as a Second language. I love my students and I love helping them advance in their studies!
