About Amanda
I believe teaching begins with human connection. Before learning can take root, children need to feel safe, seen, and deeply valued. Every student carries their own story into the learning space, and my role is to meet them with empathy, patience, and care. When a child feels understood and supported, confidence grows, curiosity awakens, and learning unfolds naturally. Hi! My name is Amanda, and I am a Pennsylvania-certified elementary educator with a background in both Education and Psychology. I have over a decade of experience supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally, both in the classroom and through virtual tutoring.
I believe every child deserves a champion—someone who sees them, believes in them, and helps them grow with confidence. My goal is to create a warm, supportive learning environment where students feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and truly engage in their learning.
I specialize in elementary reading and writing. I love helping students strengthen their skills while also building confidence and independence. Whether your child needs support, enrichment, or just a little extra encouragement, I meet them where they are and help them move forward at their own pace.
In my sessions, I incorporate interactive tools, creative strategies, and meaningful connection to keep learning engaging and effective—especially in a virtual setting.
