About Anastasiia
I am an MSc Psychology student with a strong interest in resilience building, intercultural expertise, stress management, counselling and art therapy (BA in Visual Arts and Sociology from NYU'19). I have previously coached adults on stress management and held one-on-one art therapy sessions with adolescents. I have been trained as peer counselor to hold private 2-hour long counseling sessions and have been helping college students to cope with their personal, academic and professional life issues for two years during my BA programme. I also have a 4 months experience as a teacher assistant working with children of determination (autism spectrum and cerebral palsy) age 3-5; moreover, I have a 7 months experience as a teaching assistant for primary and secondary school summer camps (kids aged 7-14): assisting teachers during the workshops on academic and creative subjects and helping with developing the syllabus for an intercultural and social diversity training adapted to the school students.

My teaching and coaching methods are based on evidence based practices (early childhood education, stress coping and conflict resolution strategies, intercultural training); I further use elements of art and narrative therapy in my counselling sessions and make sure that my practice is rooted in humanistic psychology approaches.
