About Bushra
I have coached students to successfully complete entrance exams at many independent schools across London and the UK. Many of my students also gain scholarships. I tutor for 7+, 11+ and 13+ exams - English, Verbal and Non-verbal reasoning. Over the years I have crafted a wide range of resources to enable students to improve both their comprehension and composition skills. My specialist knowledge and resources have enabled me to maintain an impressive 100% pass rate.

Students exceed expectations when they are taught how great their potential is; I apply Prof. Dweck’s Growth Mindset to build students' self-confidence. I have been successfully using this theory to plan my lessons for many years. Parents often tell me how much more enthusiastic, confident and engaged their child has become. I have a passion for literature and this is conveyed to all the students in my charge. Many of my students have gone on to study the subject at A-level.
When meeting with a new student I assess their strengths, challenges and their learning style. I then create a bespoke learning plan which is mapped against desired targets. I use model answers, checklists and mastery marking to guide students to become independent learners.
