About Xenia
I am a highly experienced educator with 19 years of experience working with students with learning difficulties. I have taught in both public and private schools in NSW.
I am a positive, enthusiastic and patient teacher. I believe that confidence building is vital. I am committed to providing the best tutoring assistance to all my students to help them reach their full potential.

I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Arts, Diploma in Education and a special needs teacher with Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education. I have extensive experience working with students with autism, ADHD, ADD, dyslexia and dyscalculia. I tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of each student. I use a lot of positive reinforcement to help develop students' self-confidence. I break tasks down into small manageable steps so the task is not overwhelming.
I am very empathetic and have an engaging approach. I use a hands-on approach and link learning to the real world outside of the classroom.
I tutor both primary school and high school students with learning difficulties.
Lessons are usually one hour in length.
