About Gabrielle
I am a fully qualified primary teacher with QTS and a PGCE in Primary Education, with experience teaching across KS1 and KS2. I have a particular passion for English and helping children become confident, enthusiastic readers and writers.
I have experience supporting children with a wide range of abilities and learning needs, including children with SEND. I understand that every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to provide the right level of support and challenge.
I have completed professional development with CLPE Power of Reading, NCETM Maths and Maths Mastery, and regularly use evidence-informed approaches to develop children's reading, comprehension, vocabulary and writing skills.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging and engaging. I aim to create a positive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their confidence and independence.
I can support children with reading fluency, comprehension, writing, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, schoolwork, SATs and 11+ preparation.
I am based in the Wandsworth and Battersea area and offer both in-person and home visits.

I am a fully qualified primary teacher with QTS and a PGCE, offering personalised English tuition for children in KS1 and KS2 across Wandsworth, Battersea and surrounding areas.
I support children across all areas of primary English, including reading, reading fluency, comprehension, writing, spelling, grammar and vocabulary. Whether your child needs to close a learning gap, build confidence or be challenged further, lessons are tailored to their individual needs.
My teaching approach is structured, encouraging and engaging. I use modelling, questioning, guided practice, targeted activities and carefully selected texts to develop children's skills and understanding. For reading, I focus on developing fluency, expression, vocabulary and comprehension so that children become confident and independent readers.
I can provide targeted support with:
