About Leanne
I am a teacher, employed by the department of education for the past 18 years. I teach English and science from grade 4 - 7. I teach at a primary school that has over 1000 students. I have taught in a classroom with an average number of students of 40. I have no experience with online teaching but have recently completed a 120 hour TEFL course with TEFL South Africa.

My teaching methodology follows an inquiry based teaching strategy. I use a variety of strategies but find that a communicative approach in the classroom is very effective. My teaching style is learner centered and incorporates activities that use learner experiences as a basis for learning. I believe that students must be provided with learning opportunities that encourage or stimulate critical thinking.
