About Marta
I graduated May of 2017 with a 3.89 GPA and a bachelor's degree in biology. After graduating, I worked at the Minnesota Zoo as a Close Encounters Interpretive Naturalist, teaching the public about the fantastic animals in our close encounters department. Before that, I taught horseback riding lessons for several years. Nothing makes me happier than seeing the "aha" moment when people grasp new knowledge.

My passion is for animals and animal behavior, but I also enjoy teaching about cell biology and human anatomy. I am comfortable teaching students who are between junior high and college. I like coming up with creative ways for students to own information, including coloring sheets (even for college students!), stories, and games.
