About Lehman
I graduated from Cornell in December 2020 with a BA in Classics, magna cum laude, and have been to several domestic and international ancient language training programs. I am advanced in reading, speaking, and writing Latin and Ancient Greek, and in reading Sanskrit. I also have a wide breadth of knowledge about the classical world and its culture and history. In addition, I have a firm grasp of English grammar and can explain the grammar of ancient languages to students both in terms of English and the ancient languages themselves.

When teaching ancient languages and their texts to students, I use an interactive method that allows them to understand the grammar by manipulating it themselves. For example, if we are reading an ancient text, I take a sentence and ask a student to reverse all singulars to plurals and plurals to singulars, or to express the same sentiment through different grammatical means. This allows for deeper understanding and adaptability when reading and learning ancient languages.
