About Oliver
I'm a recent graduate in English Studies from Durham University with past experience teaching a wide variety of subjects at different levels.
I'm really enthusiastic about teaching English and have studied Language, Literature and Creative Writing throughout my university career and beyond. I am able to offer a particular focus on close reading of texts, structuring long form essays and improving exam technique.
I'm a published poet and was a regular contributor to theatre reviews at university so I'm used to engaging with literature in many different mediums and am excited about making it accessible to others.
I can tutor all ages from primary through to degree level. I have experience across the educational spectrum, from teaching primary school groups to leading university seminars. I'm really excited about sharing my passion and experience of language, literature and writing.
