About Charlie

Hello! I’m a recent graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and currently pursuing my Master’s in Viola Performance at the Royal College of Music. I originally trained as a violinist until the age of 22, giving me a strong foundation in both instruments. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of performing as both a soloist and chamber musician in professional settings, and I’ve benefited from masterclasses with many renowned musicians. These experiences have shaped my musical perspective and deepened my passion for teaching. I especially enjoy working with younger or developing players, helping them build confidence, technique, and musicality — all while keeping lessons enjoyable and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether you're preparing for exams, auditions, or just looking to improve, I’d be honoured to help guide your journey.

I’ve known Charlie for over four years as both a friend and colleague, and he’s always brought great energy, genuine friendship, and a deep love for music to everything he does. He’s not just a talented musician, he’s someone who really cares about helping others find their own sound. Anyone would be lucky to learn from him!
