About Slim
Hi, I’m Michael “Slim Hood” Warlick, owner of Platinum Plus Recording in Charlotte, NC. I’ve spent years helping artists create professional recordings in a commercial studio environment. My experience includes recording vocalists, rappers, singers, podcasts, and voice-over talent while teaching students the same techniques used during real client sessions. My goal is to simplify the recording process so you can understand not only how to record great audio, but why each step matters. Whether you’re recording your own music or pursuing a career in audio engineering, I’ll help you build practical skills you can use immediately.
