About Kenny
I am a passionate flute tutor with 12 years of experience teaching students from school to college level, and I believe that music is one of the most powerful ways to express creativity and build confidence. My journey with the flute began with curiosity and grew into a deep passion that I now share through teaching.
Over the years, I have worked with many students, helping them progress from basic learning to confident performance. One of my proudest achievements has been seeing my students perform on stage and overcome their fear with confidence.
My teaching style is simple, structured, and student-focused, where I emphasize strong fundamentals such as breathing control, tone clarity, finger coordination, and rhythm accuracy. I also make sure that lessons are engaging and enjoyable so students remain motivated and consistent.
I strongly believe that every student has unique potential, and my goal is to guide them patiently while helping them build both musical skills and a lifelong love for music.

My teaching approach for flute is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students learn with clarity and confidence. I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning space where students feel comfortable to learn and express themselves.
I begin by understanding each student’s learning style and pace so I can adapt my teaching accordingly. I motivate students by appreciating their progress and encouraging regular practice. Communication helps me explain techniques like breath control, finger placement, posture, and tone quality in a simple and easy way.
With integrity, I guide students honestly and focus on building strong fundamentals. I correct mistakes patiently and help them improve step by step. Creativity allows me to design engaging lessons with songs, exercises, and different practice methods. Along with flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm, and ear training to support overall development.
