About MIKE

I have taught for over thirty years in K-8 schools in San Jose, California and Africa. I enjoy teaching and on retiring have continued to teach as a substitute for over five years. I take a lot of delight in seeing ESL students move from one level to another and I always challenge them to complete the program before they get to middle school.

About the lesson

Over the last thirty years of teaching, my approach has always been to meet the needs of my students, my lessons are aligned to students' levels. The goal of lessons is to promote growth, build confidence, encourage and challenge students building on their past experiences.
