About Yejin
Graduate from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire 2025. My Teaching Experience: Flute/Woodwind Tutor at Coventry Music & Mentor at Junior Conservatoire Since 2020, I’ve been working as a flute and woodwind tutor offering one-on-one lessons to students of all ages and abilities And teaching at Coventry Music since 2024, . My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to explore their musical potential. Whether they're beginners or more advanced, I focus on building strong technical skills while also fostering creativity and musical expression. Alongside this, I also mentored at the Junior Conservatoire, working with younger students who are passionate about music. In this role, I help them navigate their musical journeys, providing guidance and encouragement as they grow as musicians. It’s incredibly rewarding to see them overcome challenges and gain confidence. Both roles have allowed me to develop as a teacher, and I truly enjoy watching my students progress, whether it’s through mastering a new technique or gaining confidence in performance.

My lessons will be structured playing together and learning the music and a bit of theory each lesson for the young/beginner students. A lot of my students are working towards ABRSM grades system. I love to have very enjoyable lessons.

I couldn’t recommend her enough as a flute teacher! She’s incredibly friendly, patient, and makes every lesson enjoyable. She explains techniques clearly, always encourages me to do my best, and creates a relaxed environment where I feel confident to learn. I’ve improved so much in both my playing and confidence thanks to her teaching. If you’re looking for a supportive, knowledgeable, and inspiring flute teacher, she’s an excellent choice!
