About Jackson
My name is Jackson Beer and guitar is my main instrument. I started on piano at the Royal Conservatory of Music and studied the ins and outs of musical theory and composition. I then transferred my knowledge onto guitar and learned how to completely understand the instrument from the top of the fretboard to the bottom. I have worked with the Ontario Musicians Cooperative to further my knowledge of live performance, recording and songwriting. Since then I have played live many times with bands as well as a solo musician. I am now working on my own songwriting as well as recording and producing them. I feel that I have a lot of knowledge to pass onto others who are also passionate about learning guitar.

Over the years of playing guitar I have learned the fundamentals of rhythm and lead guitar in pop and rock music. I studied musical theory at Royal Conservatory of Music and have experience in recording, live performance and composition/ songwriting. I have the ability to teach guitar basics such as open chords and one note melodies to intermediate level such as jazz chords, lead guitar in metal and rock, modular scales and many more. I have taught many people guitar and love to extend the musical knowledge of others within this instrument no matter the experience level.
