About Zamir
I am currently in my second year at UCT studying Actuarial Science specializing in Quantitative Finance. I have a passion for maths and related courses, as I see math as the language of the universe, with all of it's symmetries and its ability to show up where you least expect it. I achieved a 96% for pure mathematics via the IEB curriculum, so I am comfortable with the content and topics all covered.
I also enjoy sports, music and in general, learning about different cultures and people.
My aim is to help you feel confident about your abilities regarding numbers and to prepare you to approach your tests and exams without stress so that you can achieve your goals.

I approach each topic that you need to know by answering any thoughts of "why do you need to know this?", and then trying to simplify it in a way that any person can understand it.
The aim is to cultivate a mindset of thinking critically and to apply your foundational knowledge to any question that comes your way.
The lessons will be tailored based on your needs, if its a problem with a certain concept, we'll try understand it from the bottom to the top, if its exam prep, we will go through past papers and any problems you may find yourself in.
