About Yassin
Hi I am Yassin, a second-year Dental Student. I am passionate about teaching Biology, Maths and Chemistry to students who need that extra push. I have been tutoring students since GCSE, and I have helped over 20 students achieve grade 9s in GCSE Maths. My main goal is to teach students how to study effectively — study smart, not hard — to find the balance between education and a social life. A big part of being a tutor is understanding that mistakes are the secret to success, so I like embracing them and learning from them to better understand the topics. I do not only teach students the content but how to apply the theory in unfamiliar situations which is that problem solving aspect that many people struggle with. Outside of studies, I like to play basketball, padel and go to the gym.

Interactive lessons with a centred, student-focused approach. My aim is to create a comfortable environment where students can express their needs. A large part of my approach is tailoring the materials and lessons to each student and understanding that some techniques may work better with different students, hence it's more of an adaptive approach to studying. I have been tutoring for 2 years now from GCSE students to A Level students and have helped students achieve their desired grades. In regards to dentistry/medicine interview I have a 100% offer rate with my students as we tackle different interview styles and the key points examiners look for in these interviews.
