About Kelsey
I am currently a second year student studying Mathematics at Queen Mary University London.
I have tutored three students in the academic year 2015/2016. I helped improve the Mathematics of all of my students and build their confidence, allowing two of them to achieve their target grades of a C at GCSE. My third and final student was in Primary school at the time and they still inform me today of how my tutoring has and continues to help them in Secondary school.

In the past I have tutored GCSE and Primary school students in Mathematics although I am happy to tutor A-Level students as well.
My lessons are mainly guided by the student themselves; I tend to base my lessons around what my student is struggling with. My student and I can work through questions that the student may not have fully understood on their own. If the student gives me a topic that they particularly find hard I will research and find extra resources i.e. exercise sheets/videos on the specific topic in order to help them to gain more experience in their weak area. I am also happy to create some condensed notes/key concepts of their weak topics so the student knows what they need to focus on. Additionally, if I struggle to answer any questions I ensure that I will understand the question for the next lesson.
I am friendly, easy to talk to and will always try to explain concepts in the best way possible adapting if my student is struggling to understand. I try to use visual aids and real life examples where viable to consolidate my students understanding.
