About Mya

Hi! I’m Mya - a second-year medical student with a strong passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals. I aim to make learning not only effective but also engaging and enjoyable. As a medical student, I am constantly exposed to challenging material, which means I am always developing clear, easy-to-remember methods, and practical tips for learning. I use these same approaches when teaching GCSE Biology and Chemistry, helping students not only understand the content but also feel confident applying their knowledge in exams.

About the lesson

I specialise in GCSE Biology and Chemistry, and my teaching style is clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s learning needs. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable steps. I have previous experience tutoring GCSE students who went on to achieve top grades, including 9s in both Biology and Chemistry. I tailor lessons to each student’s pace and preferred way of learning. I focus on breaking down difficult topics into manageable steps, strengthening exam technique, and building confidence. Whether you would like to boost your grades, improve your exam technique, or build confidence in the subject, I would be very happy to help.
