My responsibilities as a math tutor include:
-Answering student questions and providing guidance.
- Developing and implementing individualized lesson plans for students.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with students.
- Researching and recommending educational materials.
Teaching techniques:
-Teaching based on the student's learning style (the student and I will sit down and discuss what works best for them and how they prefer to learn to maximize retention and comprehension).
-Providing practice questions based on the students area of struggle.
-Providing a placement test to pinpoint places that need improvement.
-Offering outside resources and websites to promote improvements outside fo tutoring.
