About Lucy
I have always been super passionate and curious about the world. I love conversing with like-minded individuals about topics that I find engaging, which is what drew me to tutoring. At GCSE and A level I began tutoring for pocket money but I found that I really enjoyed helping students, like me, to get the most out of their talent. From Economics to English my interests are incredibly broad meaning I can offer a wide range of subjects to a high level. Mostly, I would love to help you become more engaged and excited about your subject as well as excel in it!

I like to tailor my sessions to individual student needs, however I focus largely on active recall, exam questions and mock interviews with critical discussion. Lessons will last for 1-2 hours and consist of a warm-up and a main section, where we will work at one task, be it a mock interview or a guided exam paper, for a significant chunk of time. I have tutored GCSEs and A levels for about 1 year on an informal basis but would like to expand beyond friends and family. I am happy to teach anything from GCSE preparation to University Admissions.
