About Johnson
Hi, I’m Johnson. I’m a full-time Math tutor and a First Class Honors graduate in Data Science and Business Analytics. I previously taught at a centre specializing in Secondary Math, where I also helped develop teaching materials.
Having taught over 100 students from various schools, including MGS, SCGS, ACSI and neighborhood schools, I understand that every child has different strengths and challenges.
What I enjoy most is helping a student move from feeling stuck to solving questions independently. Whether your child needs patient guidance to strengthen their foundations or a greater challenge, I’ll meet them at their current level and help them make steady progress.

Every student learns differently, so I take time to understand where your child is confident and where they need more support. I review their schoolwork and use my own diagnostic worksheet to identify gaps, then plan lessons around what will help them most.
In a typical 2 hour lesson, I explain concepts step by step, give your child time to try questions independently, and go through their mistakes with them. As they improve, I adjust the practice to build their confidence and prepare them for school tests and exams.
I teach Sec 1–4 E-Math and A-Math. With over 3 years of experience teaching 100+ students, including at a Secondary Math specialist centre, I’ve worked with students who need to strengthen their foundations and those aiming for top grades.
