About Angela
I am a mum of 2 grown-up children and have 2 dogs to keep me busy. I enjoy pilates, yoga, walking football and outdoor swimming.
I have loved my career in education, building meaningful relationships with children and adults. I love helping children to understand difficult concepts and to learn new knowledge and skills. I think learning can be challenging and so I like to break down new knowledge into easier steps and relate it to what children are interested in, whether it be football, sewing or music.

I believe that learning needs to be interactive and engaging and as active as possible.
Lessons begin with a recap, a knowledge check to fire up the memory and begin to make links with previous knowledge and learning. The main body of the lesson introduces new knowledge in a context which is age-appropriate and interesting to the learner.
I am most confident in teaching children of a primary age and 30 to 40 minutes depending on their capacity to focus and concentrate.
